Fota Wildlife Park

welcome to another blog where you can interact with us ...

Let's go to Fota Wildlife Park!

We continue visiting the wonderful city of Cork and we arrive at Fota Wildlife Park, it is a natural park of 30 hectares located on the island of Fota, near Carrigtwohill, County Cork, in the Republic of Ireland. The park is home to about 30 species of mammals and 50 species of birds. It is one of Ireland's must-see attractions. It was opened in 1983 and is only 17 kilometers by car from Cork City.

As much as possible, the animals are free and visitors can observe and interact with them in a natural setting. Unlike many safari parks, there is no driving through Fota. At this stage, you should continue with your first entry into the English-speaking towns site.

  • I really like animals, do you think it would be a good place to visit?
