New Year
New Year is definitely the oldest celebrated holiday, although it doesn't always start on 1 January - Babylonian New Year celebrations started 4,000 years ago! They celebrate it during the new moon. However, since most countries now use the Gregorian calendar as their main calendar, New Year's Day is the closest to becoming the only truly global holiday in the world, usually celebrated at midnight at the start of the new year.

3. Eid al-Fitr
Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims around the world, marking the end of Ramadan, which is the Islamic month of fasting (sawm). The religious Eid al-Fitr is one day and Muslims are not allowed to fast on this day. This holiday celebrates the end of 29 or 30 days of fasting from dawn to dusk during Ramadan. Therefore, Eid al-Fitr is the first day of Choval. This is a day when Muslims all over the world try to demonstrate the common goal of unity. It is the third most famous holiday in the world.

2. Christmas
This is an annual and widely celebrated holiday, and is usually celebrated by millions of people around the world on 25 December. This is the day of Jesus' birth, so people celebrate it as a very happy holiday. Because according to Christianity, Jesus came to save people's souls from hell, help them repent and obtain salvation of the soul. Christmas is a folk festival in many countries of the world. More and more non-Christians also celebrate this festival, which is an integral part of Christmas and the holidays.

4. Eid al-Adha
Eid al-Adha is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims around the world in honour of the Prophet ʾIbrāhīm (Abraham), who sacrificed his young eldest son Ismā'īl (Ishmael) as obedience to God's commandment and acceptance of the act of sacrificing his son, and then God intervened to provide Abraham with a lamb to replace him. In the Islamic calendar of the lunar calendar, Eid al-Adha is the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah and lasts four days. In the international Gregorian calendar, the date is different from year to year, approximately 11 days earlier each year.

6. Diwali
Known as the "Festival of Lights", Deepavali (Diwali) is a five-day Hindu festival that begins on Dhanteras and is celebrated on the 13th day of the Hindu month Krishnapaksha of Ashwin, the second day.
